About Logan Valley Mall

Logan Valley Mall continues to be a staple of the community and one of the region’s top shopping destinations. With over 50 stores conveniently located under one roof, including J.C. Penney and Macy’s, Logan Valley Mall is the largest regional shopping mall between Harrisburg and Pittsburgh. We are fortunate to have shoppers visit us from a 60-mile radius expanding into nine counties in Pennsylvania and Maryland.

Located at 5580 Goods Ln, Altoona, PA 16602, Logan Valley Mall operates as an other food place serving Altoona in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

If you were expecting a restaurant, market or cafe and landed on a listing in this group, it usually means the original source listed the business under an unusual or mixed category rather than a plain food label. Contact information, address and hours are still pulled from the same public data used across Altoona and Pennsylvania, so they should be accurate even where the category is not a perfect fit. Because this group spans everything from medical clinics to auto shops to gift stores, there is no single etiquette or norm that applies across it; treat each listing on its own terms and call ahead if the category alone does not tell you what you need to know.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 10 am–8 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (814) 944-6127. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, shoploganvalleymall.com.

With 4.0 out of 5 on Google from 3,778 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for other food places in Altoona. Recent reviews are the best guide.

Altoona is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Altoona follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

While there are still a few anchor stores left, the mall is more of a museum or relic of days long passed than it is a proper shopping center. There's no places left in the food court other than one Auntie Anne's kiosk, and the majority of the escalators are shut down, so there's not even much incentive to walk around anymore. That all said, I've seen more people in the mall than expected at times. But this is a place to get in and out of now, if you stick around too long you'll just get depressed.

Sadly, this mall is deteriorating fast and loosing vendors every few months. Bathrooms are not the best, they're constantly clogged, water pressure is horrible. Ceilings are disgusting and missing tiles everywhere, floor tiles are cracked. Food court only has one food vendor. It smells horrible and the bathrooms are gross. The only times the men's bathroom in food court smell good is when the older cleaning lady is there. She does an awesome job keeping them smelling good, and keeps the floors nice and clean. Corporate people need to invest and bring this Mall back up. It's a great location and it attracts people from everywhere but due to unsafe conditions , they're loosing customers. Currently there's no elevator service, and one set of escalators working at one end of mall. I'm truly surprised that this mall is even still open.

The mall is lacking many stores and is definitely on the road to closure. It does have a few name brand stores such as Bath & Body Works, American Eagle, Aerie, and Old Navy.

Logan Valley Mall was clearly once a thriving, bustling shopping destination. It’s a two-story mall located just off Highway 99 in Altoona, Pennsylvania, and while it’s not what it used to be, it still has some life left in it. Today, the mall has around 40 remaining tenants, and only one of its four anchor stores—JCPenney—is still open. The other three anchors have closed, which gives the mall a quieter, somewhat hollow feel. Whether this mall is dying or slowly coming back to life is up for debate—it’s definitely not dead, but it’s not thriving either. That said, there are still some bright spots worth mentioning. The mall has a very nice H&M—surprisingly large and modern—and stores like Aerie help maintain a solid retail presence. One of the biggest surprises was Tilt Studio, a massive arcade that’s easily the largest I’ve seen in a mall outside of Dave & Buster’s. It features a wide range of unique video games that you don’t typically find elsewhere. On the downside, the food court is extremely limited, with only three vendors currently open. It feels like a shadow of what it likely once was. So, is it worth visiting? If you’re a fan of malls like I am, yes—there are still

A good mall that has some vacancies but is still holding on! There’s still a lot of stores and restaurants to choose from still. There’s even an Amtran train service that stops at the mall! A beautiful 2 story mall to shop, eat or walk around! Very safe and secure. The facility is clean with a lot of parking all around the property! The staff is very friendly! I really like this mall!
